After a rainy few days, the weather is set to be a lot drier in Greater Manchester over this weekend.
According to the Met Office, heavy rain will fall this afternoon across our region. Showers will continue to fall in some areas into the evening.
Overnight into Friday, more heavy showers are predicted in the early hours. But from tomorrow morning, conditions look a lot brighter.

Forecasters predict sunny spells throughout the day on Friday, with a clear night expected. The temperature will reach a maximum of 10C, according to the Met Office.
Saturday is set to be another dry day, with cloudy conditions forecast and the mercury set to reach highs of 11C. Although there may be some showers later in the evening.
On Sunday, the weather is predicted to be mainly dry and cloudy in our region. Maximum temperatures of around 11C are predicted.
Into Monday, another dry and cloudy is forecast with no rain expected at all. Forecasters predict the temperature will dip slightly to a high of 9C.
