The Jubilee bank holiday weekend is set to bring more high temperatures and plenty of sunshine. Highs of 17C are expected all across Greater Manchester today with very little rain to dampen spirits.
According to the Met Office, Friday will start of cloudy which will transform into dry and sunny spells for the whole afternoon and evening. Forecasters said: "It will be a cloudy start with outbreaks of locally heavy rain. The rain will gradually ease through the morning and it will become mostly dry through the afternoon, with sunny spells and an isolated shower possible. Maximum temperature 18 °C."

For the evening: "After a fine, sunny evening, it will be a dry night. Initial clear skies will gradually cloud over from the east, but some clear spells will persist in the west. Minimum temperature 6 °C."
The weather for the jubilee weekend is expected to stay strong, with tomorrow expecting "a rather cloudy start to Saturday morning, it will quickly brighten up to leave a fine dry day with plenty of pleasantly warm sunny spells. Maximum temperature 20 °C."
