Greater Manchester hour-by-hour weather for every borough this weekend

After an expected cold and rainy start to winter, Greater Manchester and its boroughs will be treated to warmer and sunnier conditions this weekend.

Conditions and temperatures will begin to pick up on Saturday afternoon, with the sun making a short appearance and temperatures increasing slightly to 14C. Following this, the Met Office's early predictions state that Sunday should have plenty of sun starting in the morning and lasting until the evening.

According to the Met Office, Saturday will see a "generally dry and increasingly bright day, with morning mist and murk slowly clearing. Very mild and with much lighter winds than on Friday, feeling unseasonably warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 16 °C."

Meanwhile, Sunday will see "low cloud persisting in places" before showers make a comeback at the start of next week.
