The winner of last year's Great British Sewing Bee has revealed what the current contestants must be feeling, on the day that the final episode is due to be broadcast.
A 22-year-old Serena Baker became the youngest ever contestant on the sewing competition and she then went on to triumph in last year's series. Serena knows what the current contestants are feeling, having gone through the experience herself last year.
She told co-host Jermaine Jenas on BBC's The One Show: "I think they're just going to be ready to have it all out there and to not have any secrets anymore. I think they'll just be really excited and looking forward to everyone knowing.

"It's such a long build-up as well, lots of excitement. So it's just a relief when everyone finally knows who's won, and [it's] exciting to share with friends and family."
The sewing competition comes to a head this evening when the final is aired on BBC One at 9pm. The popular show not only champions the gentle art of sewing, but it also provides a platform for budding creatives.
Speaking to co-host Alex Jones, Serena who is a multi-talented seamstress went on to say how the show changed her life. Serena said: "I couldn't say no to writing a book, it is such an amazing thing to be able to do.
"It's been a big focus for the past year. It's really targeted at beginner sewers, or all levels really, there's a huge range of difficulty in there."
Serena added that the book aims to "teach people the basic things they need to know to start sewing and how to upcycle by taking old things and making them into something new".
The One Show airs on BBC One on weekday nights at 7pm.
