Great British Bake Off viewers think they know who is going home after Week 6 preview

The Great British Bake Off (GBBO) returned to our screens on Tuesday (October 12) night for another round of baking.

Week five saw the bakers take to the famous tent to whip up some serious desserts featuring questionable instructions thanks to Prue.

This week contestants were tasked with baking eight signature steamed puddings, a lemon meringue pie in the technical challenge and a mousse-based dessert for the showstopper.

And whilst the method for the lemon pie said simply to make a lemon meringue pie with no other words, everyone managed to successfully create a pie - although only some were cooked through.

And whilst there was some serious competition with Sandro being crowned Star Baker, it was Carole who was sent home

Reflecting on her time in the tent she said she had successfully done what she had set out to do despite going home. She said: "I'm very proud of myself because I've come here to achieve something as I get older. Even to walk into that tent is an achievement in itself."

However whilst Carole is not longer in the running of winning the show, neither is Dawn according to people watching at home after watching the preview for Week 6.

In the preview shown at the end of the episode, the bakers can be seen making bakes related to Halloween with "terrifying technicals" and "spooky showstoppers". However with one task showing a creation hanging on a piece of string, it seems that Dawn could be in trouble as the clip showed her face drop as she said "oh" with a 'thud' heard in the background with many assuming her bake had fallen and smashed.

One said: "From next weeks promo… it looks like dawn is in danger."

Another added: "I'm guessing Dawn's going next week, she can't hide behind anyone else now."
