Great British Bake Off fans were all asking the same question as the first contestant was eliminated from the competition.
Judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith, and presenters Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding, were back in the show's famous tent for another series of signature, technical and showstopper bakes.
Twelve new contestants - including a Metropolitan Police detective, a retired nurse and an IT professional - were also introduced - but one had to go home.

Tonight, Tom from Kent, became the first evicted contestant - but some viewers asked why other contestants weren’t knocked out.
This came after Tom’s signature swiss rolls were “not at all bad” according to judge Prue and he came fifth out of 12 in the technical.
Meanwhile, Amanda came last in the technical, while Jairzeno, served a plate of soggy mini rolls.
Tom’s downfall came in the showstopper when he ran out of time creating his concert hall.
But fans thought he deserved another chance, with some questioning why he was eliminated.
One tweeted: "Tom definitely shouldn’t have gone."

Tom asked: "Tom going over Amanda? How? Amanda just barely scraped the surface of the Showstopper brief and failed miserably on the first two."
