The results and finishing times for this year's Great Bristol Run have been released. After months of training, thousands of runners took to the streets of Bristol earlier this morning (May 14), to run in the 10K, Half Marathon or Family Fun Run.
Bristol city centre was awash with runners, from die-hard athletes aiming to break their personal records to those donning fancy dress. The course twists and turns its way around the Old City, Redcliffe, the city centre, Hotwells and the Harbourside.
The major event saw a number of roads around the city centre closed for varying amounts of time - organisers are running a rolling programme of road closures to allow the races to go ahead safely, but at the same time minimise the disruption to motorists and cyclists as the day continues.
