Grant Leadbitter has posted a strong but simple message on social media in the aftermath of Kyril Louis-Dreyfus's shareholder statement which sent shockwaves through the Black Cats fanbase.
Red and white supporters were left astounded to find out that the 25-year-old only owned 41 per cent of the club, with the Madrox trio of Stewart Donald, Juan Sartori and Charlie Methven owning the remaining 59 per cent.
The Sunderland chairman promised fans to be honest and transparent upon arrival on Wearside, but it's taken just under a year for the club to release information relating to shares following the takeover.

The Frenchman claims to have a 'controlling' stake in the club and while on paper he may have the largest shares in the club, fans are understandably alarmed by the majority held by their previous owners.
Supporters were let down by the news and former captain Grant Leadbitter took to social media with a simple message.
"If you want to be trusted, be honest," wrote Leadbitter on his Instagram story.
A red and white supporter from birth, Leadbitter knows all too well what the club means to the community and fanbase.
The current Sunderland owner has his work cut out getting fans back on side.
