Granit Xhaka has given his thoughts on new Arsenal signings Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira as he backs up Mikel Arteta's vision for the Gunners.
Arsenal have already spent north of £80million on four signings this summer, acquiring Jesus, Vieira, Marquinhos and Matt Turner from Manchester City, Porto, Sao Paolo and New England Revolution respectively.
Speaking on Arsenal's pre-season tour of America, Xhaka explained how Jesus and Vieira add quality to the squad, pointing out they have the right mentality to match Arteta's vision. "They are bringing something more than just games and wins, they are bringing the mentality of winning something - that is what we need here," the midfielder told Sky Sports.
"It is not so easy only to speak but to show it on the pitch as well, both they bring the experience.
"Of course, Gabi knows the Premier League. I think he won everything, or nearly everything but the most important thing is to bring the players that have the hunger as well because you can win a lot of trophies that's enough, but these guys want to win much more and in with us which makes us very happy to have them."
The mentality to win trophies and put Arsenal back among the most successful clubs in both England and Europe is something Arteta is very keen to achieve himself.

Speaking to Arsenal's club website earlier this year, Arteta emphasised the importance of working towards a winning mentality and trying to show leadership as the Gunners prepare for a return to Europe this season via the Europa League.
"The level of leadership, the passion that you play with and the belief that you have among the squad, to fight for every single ball for 96 minutes... then it's about learning how to win," said Arteta ahead of facing Tottenham.
"Every game is different and you have to find a way to win it. There are certain things that are basics you have to do every game.
"Sometimes there are some things you have to control because of the opponent, because of the circumstances, because of the time that is left. That's a process we are in and we have to improve very much to be able to fight with the top teams."
The Gunners have played two friendlies so far this summer, securing victories in both. They started with a 5-1 win over Ipswich Town behind closed doors, with Eddie Nketiah scoring a hat-trick in that tie. Last Friday, new signing Jesus netted twice during a 5-3 victory over German side Nurnberg.
Arsenal are next in pre-season action on Sunday, taking on Everton in The Charm City Match in Baltimore, America.
