Granit Xhaka is flying straight to Dubai to join Arsenal's training camp after Switzerland crashed out of the World Cup on Tuesday.
The Swiss captain led his nation to the last-16 of the competition, but his side were humiliated by Portugal as a Goncalo Ramos hat-trick helped Fernando Santos' side on their way to a 6-1 thrashing at the Lusail Stadium.
Nevertheless, as things have been with this frantic season, there's no time for stopping. However, surprisingly, rather than take some time off - which he's entitled to - Xhaka has revealed that he's set to rejoin his Arsenal teammates as they prepare to make a title charge in the second-half of the Premier League season.

The Gunners flew to Dubai a few days ago as they enjoy a warm weather training camp to get back into the swing of things. Arsenal will also play Lyon on Thursday before matching up with AC Milan on Tuesday as players look to rebuild their fitness ahead of the domestic restart.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, Xhaka said: "Of course, emotionally it is not easy. But this is part of our business, part of football. You have to recover well. The Premier League is waiting and, of course, I wanted to be here longer than this. But we lost the game today and I am happy to go back now with the team.
"I have something to achieve there, and I know the team is in Dubai at the moment doing the pre-season. I'm flying back to Dubai, going back to the team, and going back to the training and trying to forget the tournament now."
Xhaka continued by speaking about how Arsenal will deal with Gabriel Jesus' injury. The 25-year-old has had to undergo surgery on his knee and will be absent for a reported three months. Eddie Nketiah is set to lead the line in his place.
Jesus suffered the injury while playing for Brazil against Cameroon last week and Xhaka instantly reached out to him: "I spoke with him straight after the Cameroon game," he added. "We have the contact between each other, with all the players we have here in the World Cup.
"It's a shame because you saw in the first round of the Premier League how important he is for us. I don’t know how big the injury is, maybe two or three months, I think.
"But he is a strong guy. It's a small injury for him I think, and we will support him. He knows that we are behind him and hopefully we can get him back as quick as possible."
