Grandmother insists she's ready to have 8th child with toyboy husband

A grandmother from Georgia says she's ready to have an eight child at 62-years-old. Cheryl McGregor insists she is ready to mother another child with her husband Quran, 26, and has already spoken to three surrogates about the process.

The couple from Rome in Georgia, US have also said they'd be willing to adopt to make their dreams of building a family together come true, the Mirror reports. Speaking on This Morning Cheryl, whose seven children are from a previous relationship, hit back at trolls who claim she is too old to take care of a baby.

The determined gran insists she has more energy than half of those criticising her as she also revealed the couple who are 36 years apart have had to 'battle' with their families over their unusual relationship. The pair spoke to the UK breakfast show from Atlanta over a video link as Cheryl told the hosts: "They said I guess just because of my age I can't take care of a baby, what?

"I have got more energy than half of these kids that are taking care of babies now and I don't see it as a problem. She continued: "No I can not have a baby myself but we have done the surrogacy thing where we already had three surrogates and right now we are looking for another one and also maybe adoption."

The controversial couple have a huge online support with over three million followers on TikTok but their own families are not so pleased by their relationship as Cheryl said five of her children do not support them. She continued: "Out of seven of my children I really have two but one who really stands by us through everything and it took a while to come to that conclusion that they like him."

The pair first locked eyes on one another in 2012 when they both worked in the same fast-food establishment. However, it wasn't until years later that they became romantically involved.

After losing contact, they reconnected in 2020 when caretaker Qaran saw Cheryl working as a cashier at a convenience store. The pair instantly clicked and decided to give dating a go, tying the knot a year later in front of 20,000 viewers on live stream.

The unconventional duo also have an Only Fans account and say they do receive a lot of online hate. Although they try to not let the words phase them, Cheryl admits it feels like 'us against the world'.

Quran said: 'We are just going to keep living our lives because we are happy, we are very much happy, this is a happy healthy marriage, we are looking to start our family and that's all we got."
