Grandma caught with monkey dust hidden in her underwear after police search

A drug-dealing grandma was caught with a stash of drugs hidden in her underwear after she was pulled over by police.

Stacie Sullivan was travelling in a Seat Leon when the vehicle was pulled over by officers who discovered drugs in the vehicle.

The 44-year-old was then searched again at the police station and found to have more drugs concealed in her underwear.

She was arrested for possession of class A and class B drugs with the intent to supply and released on bail, according to Stoke-on-Trent Live.

However, less than a month later she was caught inside a drug den with deals of heroin and monkey dust in her possession.

Authorities found one kinder egg containing 27 wraps of monkey dust and 18 wraps of heroin and another of containing 46 monkey dust deals and 10 wraps of heroin.

Now Sullivan has been jailed for 30 months at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.

Prosecutor Antony Longworth said police saw the defendant, who was known by the name of Kirk, going to an address in the city at 1.15pm on October 13. She left in a black Seat Leon and the car was stopped nearby.

Mr Longworth said: "She was the rear seat passenger. A small amount of drugs were found on the front seat.

"A quantity of class A and class B drugs were seized from the defendant.

"She was arrested. She was searched further and further amounts of drugs were seized from her underwear."

Police seized £285 cash, one container with 1.4 grams of monkey dust and a contact lens container which contained wraps of monkey dust and heroin.

Mr Longworth said: "There were about a dozen packages of drugs packaged for sale."

The defendant was bailed but was arrested again on November 10. Mr Longworth said: "Police went to an address in a block of flats as it was reported a drugs den was operating. They found her inside.

"Officers recovered four deals of monkey dust and a deal of heroin. There was a kinder egg containing 27 wraps of monkey dust and 18 deals of heroin with a value of £700.

"Another kinder egg contained 46 wraps of monkey dust and 10 heroin deals with an estimated deal of £1,000. They also recovered a paper tick list."

Sullivan, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply and two charges of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply.

"Her pleas were on a basis she was selling drugs to people already on drugs to fund her habit.

Barry White, mitigating, said the defendant has been on remand since November.

He said: "She said her actions were stupid. For a long time she was living a chaotic lifestyle."

He said Sullivan has no previous convictions for possession or dealing drugs. Mr White added: "She no longer has the care of her children due to her lifestyle. She regrets that.

"She recently became a grandmother. She wants to be there for her grandchild more than she was for her own children."

Judge Graeme Smith said: "Both sets of offences relate to the supply of the same drugs, heroin and monkey dust. By your basis of plea it is accepted they were being supplied to a limited number of people you were friendly with.

"Drugs damage lives, you know that because they have damaged your own life. That led to a cycle of you yourself supplying others.

"It is aggravated because you had already been arrested and were on bail when you supplied the second set of drugs."

The judge ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
