Now the Grand National 2023 has kicked off at Aintree Racecourse, people's eyes are on racegoers' outfits. When it comes to fashion, the Grand National never disappoints, and this year's races are no exception.
As ever, there have been some exceptionally glamorous outfits at Aintree Racecourse today (Thursday May 9), with the fashion stakes set to ramp up even further tomorrow (Friday May 10) for Ladies Day. One bold new fashion trend in particular has been seen throughout Grand National attendees - with racegoers opting for expensive-looking outfits on a budget from the likes of Tesco, Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury's.
Reporters and photographers from our sister site the ECHO have been at Aintree Racecourse today, and, as always, have spotted an array of incredible outfits. The common theme this year was definitely bold pinks, and women's suits.
Interestingly, the supermarkets had their time to shine this year, with many women wearing suits from Sainsbury's TU Clothing, Marks & Spencer and Tesco F&F. There were plenty of vibrant colour combinations, with the main ones being pink, green and orange.
Although there were still a lot of fedoras and country chic consisting of tweed suits and boots, it was bold colours that really took the crown today. I have to say, we are very here for the power dressing.
