The Grand National result for 2023 has been predicted by AI bot ChatGPT - with jockey Rachael Blackmore tipped to be victorious once again.
Blackmore won the big race two years ago on board Minella Times, and is now being backed for a repeat with Ain’t That A Shame later on today.
Sportslens asked ChatGPT, an artificial-intelligence chatbot that has been at the centre of plenty of debate recently, for its run of the showpiece which gets underway at 5.15pm this afternoon.

The winner was Ain’t That A Shame, currently available at odds of around 10/1. Other horses currently prominent in the betting were also right there at the business end of the predicted race.
ChatGPT's commentary came out as follows: "The runners are off, and Ain’t That A Shame, trained by Henry De Bromhead and ridden by Rachael Blackmore, takes an early lead. Corach Rambler, ridden by Derek Fox, is close behind, followed by Delta Work, ridden by Keith Donoghue, and Noble Yeats, ridden by Sean Bowen.
"As they approach the first fence, the field begins to spread out, with some horses taking their time over the obstacles while others fly over them. Gaillard Du Mesnil, ridden by Paul Townend, and Mr Incredible, ridden by Brian Hayes, are making good progress, while The Big Dog, ridden by Aidan Coleman, is struggling at the back of the field.
"As they reach the halfway point, the leading pack is still tightly bunched. Le Milos, ridden by Harry Skelton, and Vanillier, ridden by Sean Flanagan, have made up ground and are now in contention. Any Second Now, ridden by Mark Walsh, and Capodanno, ridden by Danny Mullins, are also well placed.
"The race really starts to heat up as they approach the final few fences. Longhouse Poet, ridden by JJ Slevin, and Galvin, ridden by Davy Russell, are making a late charge, while Our Power, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies, is starting to fade.
"As they approach the final fence, Ain’t That A Shame is still in front, but Delta Work and Noble Yeats are hot on his heels. The crowd is on its feet as the three horses jump the final obstacle together and head for the finish line.
"In a thrilling finish, it’s Ain’t That A Shame who holds on to take the victory at odds of 8/1, giving trainer Henry De Bromhead and jockey Rachael Blackmore yet another big-race win. Delta Work takes second at 9/1, with Noble Yeats finishing third at the same price.
"It’s a moment of pure joy and excitement as the winning connections celebrate in front of the packed grandstands. Ain’t That A Shame has proved himself to be a true champion, and the Grand National has once again delivered a race to remember."
