One of horse racing’s most iconic races returns this weekend, with 40 horses looking to be crowned the winner of the 175th Randox Grand National at Aintree.
Lucinda Russell’s Corach Rambler is the bookies’ favourite for the win having already won the Ultima Handicap Chase on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival - as trainer Russell aims for a second National winner having previously been victorious in 2017 with One For Arthur.
However, there will be steep competition in the form of last year’s winner Noble Yeats and Gordon Elliott’s Delta Work, as well as the likes of Gaillard De Mesnil and Any Second Now sitting just behind the favourites.
So here’s the dilemma. Do you go with who the bookies are tipping or are you in the market for some value?
And how much should form, weighting and the jockey on board be taken into account when selecting your Grand National winner?
Thankfully, using our Pick Your Horse widget, all the guesswork is taken out of your hands.
To make your selection, simply use the sliders and decide how important each of the factors are to you.
We can’t promise that it will throw up the National winner but we can promise it will select the best horse based on your requirements.
So, what are you waiting for? Get sliding.
