Grand National 2023 fallers: Which horses failed to finish Aintree race?

The Grand National isn't the most prestigious horse race in the world for nothing. It's an incredibly challenging course, featuring 30 jumps (16 fences, with 14 of those being jumped twice) on the four-mile and two and a half furlong race.

But, while safety improvements have been made in recent years, the Grand National remains a challenging task if not done properly. As such, seeing horses fall at some of the hurdles is no rare sight.

The Grand National race had been delayed due to protesters on the track. About 15 demonstrators were reported to have been on the course. Follow what happened here.

The race got underway 15 minutes late but racegoers at Aintree did not seem to notice the slight delay to the start of the steeplechase, and cheered on the 39 horses as they passed.

Corach Rambler went on to win, but there were some horses that fell along the way.

Full list of those who didn't finish by either falling or being unseated:

Any Second Now, Galvin, Fury Road, Capodanno, Delta Work, Sam Brown, Lifetime Ambition, Coko Beach, Longhouse Poet, Darasso, The Big Breakaway, Gape Gentleman, Diol Ker, Velvet Elvis, Mr Incredible, Cloudy Glen, Hill Sixteen, Gabbys Cross, Recite A Prayer, Eva's Oskar, Dunboyne, Back On The Lash.
