Racegoers have rejoiced as crowds returned for Ladies Day.
The event is one of the biggest style events in the city's calendar year and thousands of people donned their most glamorous outfits to enjoy another day of thrilling action. Ladies Day is traditionally a star-studded affair as many celebrities have attended the world-famous L9 racecourse over the years.
Coleen Rooney is someone who has become synonymous with the race meeting as the mum-of-four regularly stuns crowds with her incredibly chic outfits. Coleen's birthday coincides with Grand National weekend and she has been a spectator at the L9 racecourse almost every year since 2006.

The unofficial Queen of Aintree has yet to appear in the stands this year and she has issued an update of her whereabouts on Instagram. Coleen has shared a snap from an adorable day out with her family and revealed she has been at Beatrix Potter world with her four children.
She said: "Thank you @worldofbeatrixpotter for a great visit and fantastic afternoon tea, it was delicious."
The most high profile race is tomorrow and it remains to be seen whether Coleen Rooney will don one of her famous outfits to attend the showpiece event. In 14 years, Coleen has missed the Grand National just three times. Over the years, bookies have even taken bets on what colour/s she would wear to the event.
