Grand National 2022 sweepstake kit: Download for free ahead of big Aintree race

Fans will be able to watch the 2022 Grand National in person at Aintree Racecourse, and returning with them is Mirror Sport's free sweepstake kit.

The race is one of the biggest events on the British sporting calendar, with punters keen to make a nice payday by backing the winning horse. A huge amount of money has already been placed on this Saturday's main event, with much more set to follow between now and the beginning of the race.

But even if you don't manage to beat the bookies, there's still a way for you to come out on top. There's a way for everyone to have the chance to be a winner, even those for whom betting odds might as well be a different language.

That way is with our sweepstake kit. Print it and then cut out the names of all the horses taking part in the Grand National, set an entry fee and let everyone pick a name out of a hat.

That way, everyone who enters has a fair and equal chance of winning. And you can decide how the winnings are split – maybe cash prizes could be handed out to those who picked out the first three horses, or perhaps the winner will take the whole pot. The power is entirely in your hands!

Our sweepstake kit is perfect for some friendly competition with some colleagues, or perhaps among family and friends. It doesn't matter how you want to work it – all you need to do is download so that the draw can be organised ahead of the start of the race.

What time does the Grand National 2022 begin?

The Grand National steeplechase is the crowning event of the Aintree event, and will take place on the third and final day of action. It is the sixth event scheduled to be run on Saturday, April 9, and is due to get under way at 5.15pm.

How can I watch the Grand National 2022?

The Grand National, among with most of the rest of the event's races, will be broadcast live on ITV. So if you weren't lucky enough to snap up tickets to visit in person, you can still keep tabs on all the racing action at Aintree.
