Gran's 'genius' way of packing Christmas tree up in seconds to avoid 'messing with balls'

With Christmas now long behind us and the Twelfth Night already long gone, many of us will be racing to get those Christmas decorations so we can avoid any bad luck.

However, the main issue with getting those decorations down is that they can take a lot of work as you have to sort them into their correct boxes and make sure they will be all neat and tidy for next year.

Thankfully, one clever woman has the answer to all our prayers. The grandma, famously known as Nanna Bea on TikTok, has gone viral after sharing a clip on TikTiok showing her genius solution of taking her tree down which removes all the fuss.

She covers the tree in a giant bed sheet (@nannabea/TikTok)
She then carries the small tree up to the spare room in the sheet (@nannabea/TikTok)

In the clip, which has now been seen over 344,000 times, Nanna Bea stands by her Christmas tree holding what looks to be a giant bedsheet, and says: "We all know what Nanna does with her tree, every single year.

"I am not messing about with that amount of balls."

From there, the TikTok-famous gran flings the bedsheet over the Christmas tree so the bedsheet completely wraps around the tree.

She then picks up the tree from the very base and says: "And up to the spare room she goes."

So next year all Nanna Bea needs to do is go to her spare room, bring down the Christmas tree and unwrap it, much like a present on Christmas Day.

The hilarious clip showing the extraordinarily simple trick has been a huge hit with fans who have shared in the delight for the hack.

The caption for the clip, the gran wrote: "I don't do messing with balls every year …. Night night tree sleep well."

In response, one person wrote: "Nanna Bea does it again. Genius!"

While another wrote: "Nanna works smarter not harder."

A third penned: "Genius. Wish I saw this before I put my tree away."
