Adele’s priceless response to Harry Styles’ beating her to album of the year at this year’s Grammy’s was captured perfectly by Lizzo.
The 29-year-old former One Direction star – who was nominated for six gongs at the star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday – walked away with best pop vocal album and the most coveted award of the evening, album of the year, for his third album, Harry’s House.
And nobody was more overjoyed about it than his good friend and fellow singer Lizzo.
The Truth Hurts hit-maker could not hide her excitement over Styles’ big win, nor did she want to, and she shared the moment in a video on TikTok which has since gone viral.
Lizzo, 34, could be heard cheering and screaming in the background as she filmed him clasping his face in his hands in disbelief, then walk on stage to collect his prize.
She then turned her camera around to capture the reactions of the other celebrities who were sitting nearby, including a clearly emotional Adele who had also been up for the award.
Seeming startled as she realised she was on camera, a wide-eyed Adele shouted: “Why you filming me for?” before Lizzo turned the camera back on Styles.
Lizzo’s fans were left howling by clip which has received over 2.3m likes and 18.1k comments.
“This is the most magical video,” declared one person.
“I LOVE this,” agreed another.
“Adele’s face,” remarked a third.
