Chelsea's Premier League squad for the 2022/23 season has been confirmed and sees the Blues land two players short of the allocation they allowed to take up for the campaign.
The club have named 23 players in their main squad with new signings Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana, Kalidou Koulibaly, Raheem Sterling, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Denis Zakaria all included. Potter's group includes eight homegrown players so the final two spots would be open to be taken up by anyone in the future.
Armando Broja and Carney Chukwuemeka are absent from the main group but are eligible to play without taking up any spots as they remain under 21. The league has also announced the club's Under-21 players and scholars which includes a number of players who are currently out on loan.

Premier League squads must contain a maximum of 17 international players, or those who do not fulfil the homegrown criteria for the division. The remaining eight spots must be taken up by those are eligible for that criteria.
The league defines a home grown player as a 'player who, irrespective of nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to The Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons, or 36 months, before his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21)'.
