Graham Potter makes Hakim Ziyech decision as Chelsea receive triple injury boost ahead of Fulham

Chelsea boss Graham Potter has confirmed that Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling will all be available for his Chelsea squad when the Blues take on Fulham on Friday night. The trio join Ruben Loftus-Cheek in working their way back to full fitness, as the midfielder also continues his recovery having been involved in Chelsea squads against Crystal Palace and Liverpool.

James has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury on his return against Bournemouth in December, while Sterling picked up an issue in the first minutes of the Premier League clash against Manchester City. Ben Chilwell returns having not played since being forced off in stoppage time of Chelsea's final Champions League group match against Dinamo Zagreb.

The trio have all been involved in training since Chelsea's draw against Liverpool, with the Blues having an extended break having already been knocked out of the World Cup. The former Brighton coach also revealed that Wesley Fofana has had some small involvement in training ahead of making a more substantial return next week.

Potter said: "Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Raheem Sterling and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are in the squad. Not for 90 minutes but in the squad. Wesley [Fofana] has been partly training with the team, stepping up next week."

Potter further revealed that Hakim Ziyech was back and had trained with the side after his move to PSG fell through in the final stages. The Morocco international was in Paris for much of deadline day with the French champions said to be furious that the deal was not completed in time.

The 47-year-old believes Ziyech can still have a big role for the Blues in the final months of the season and he will be available against the Cottagers.

Potter added: "He's back in the country and trained this morning. He is a professional player. He understands the situation. He is committed to us. He is available for the squad against Fulham and he will be an important player for the rest of the season.”
