Graham Potter is said to have sanctioned the departure of Armando Broja amid interest from AC Milan, according to reports from Italy. The 21-year-old striker was heavily linked with an exit from Chelsea in the summer following an impressive season-long spell at Southampton.
Broja, who recently penned a new deal at Stamford Bridge which keeps him at the club until 2028, has featured eight times for the Blues this season, directly contributing towards one goal. He's impressed in cameo displays off the bench, courting the interest of several top-flight European sides.
According to Calciomercato, Milan transfer chief Frederic Massara has been in contact with the Albania international's representatives on a number of occasions in recent weeks. The report states that the Italian giants and the west Londoners have discussed Broja's future, with a £30million asking price set.

It's said that the Rossoneri are drawn towards the Cobham graduate's combination of great technical ability and powerful physical qualities, fitting the bill of what head coach Stefano Pioli desires from a striker. Milan have enjoyed great success in recent times, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao leading the line.
The report adds that Potter has 'signalled his intentions to green-light the deal'. Broja was handed his first start under the 47-year-old in Chelsea's 0-0 draw with Brentford - he was pulled from proceedings with half an hour to play.
football.london understand that West Ham showed strong interest in the striker in the summer, along with Everton too. It's also believed that clubs in Europe are keeping tabs on Broja too.
Speaking to the Blues' in-house media team, the youngster revealed the advice Potter gave him to succeed at Chelsea. Broja said: "[Potter] said to me the more I could keep working hard in training, learning from the other players, the more opportunities I would get.
"He tries to keep you ambitious and hungry. He's spoken to all the players individually and got to know us, seeing how we think about things and how the person is their background. Any time you need help, he's there to help you, or his coaching staff are there to help you.
"He wants to develop all the players and help out everyone. It's been really good to have him here, to talk to him. It's been a really good vibe, and we're doing really well at the moment, so we just want to keep that going."
