Graham Potter has confirmed that N'Golo Kante is fit to face Everton on Saturday as Chelsea welcome back their star midfielder. Kante has only played twice this season after suffering an injury on the second weekend of the campaign.
The 31-year-old has been out since August after a setback ruled him out for nearly double the original four month time line. Having played it coy over the involement of a player previously dupped 'Chelsea's own Kylian Mbappe' by Thomas Tuchel, Potter has since revealed that he is in the squad for the game.
Speaking to the club before the match, Potter said: "N'Golo is back for the weekend. He is in the squad, which is fantastic news for everybody. We have missed him a lot with his injury, it is great that he is back.

"We must be careful with him as he has been out for a while but nevertheless delighted he is back in the squad. We are looking forward to seeing him back on the pitch."
Potter, who came in as boss in September, is yet to have Kante available for a game and has also suffered with a plague of injuries to his squad throughout. Kante's return is just the latest in a line of high profile stars being match ready again after Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Wesley Fofana all made it back in the past month.
Kante is out of contract at the end of the season but there is growing hope that a new deal will be signed to keep the two-time Premier League winner at Stamford Bridge beyond that point. His return to action is just one step on that journey.
Chelsea face Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
