Years before Kristian Seeber, 41, rose to fame on last year's season of RuPaul's Drag Race, the star enjoyed a taste of life in the spotlight thanks to a romance with presenter Graham Norton.
The drag queen, who is best known as Tina Burner, dated the popular Irish presenter for several months in 2005, before it ended in "disaster".
Graham - who is a guest judge on the UK version of RuPaul's Drag Race - previously recalled their brief but serious romance in his 2014 autobiography, The Life and Loves of a He Devil.
The chat show host explained how he and Kristian first met at Barracuda, a gay bar in New York, and the presenter quickly felt a "special spark".
Looking back on their time together - which included a brief stint living together - Graham concluded he was "not great boyfriend material".
"The experiment lasted for about six months, and it was a disaster," the presenter wrote when reflecting on their time cohabiting in London.
"I realise that even to a perfect stranger, the outcome would have been glaringly obvious. But when you are in the middle of something and you are desperate for it to work, you will try anything."
Kristian went on to call it quits with Graham "over lunch in an empty restaurant" - a break up that hit the TV star hard and left him heartbroken.
"The madness was over," he recalled in his book.
"But this time with no shouting or histrionics, just some slow, heavy tears shed over lunch in an empty restaurant.
"I walked home, finding some comfort in the fact that a man in his mid-forties could still feel such heartache."
Last year, Kristian became a household name himself, thanks to finishing in seventh place on the 13th series of RuPaul's Drag Race.
Throughout his time on the show, his fellow queens quizzed him about his romance with Graham.
"I love how you say fling, I was in a relationship," Kristian hit back with when one of his rivals accidentally referred to his romance as a 'fling'.
"Graham is so famous, he's at that level where your life is just like put on a platform.
He added: "He's such a great guy and it never ever got to him. It was the most amazing thing."
Following his split from Kristian, Graham went on to date Trevor Patterson for two years until their split in 2013, and more recently, broke up with his last known partner Andrew Smith in 2015.
