After missing out on the top two quarterbacks in the draft, the Tennessee Titans ultimately decided to stick and pick at their original slot, and in my opinion, they hit an absolute grand slam with the selection of Northwestern offensive lineman, Peter Skoronski.
The Northwestern product is a true technician along the offensive line. Now, the real question is: where exactly does he line up in Week 1?
Due to his sub-33-inch arms, he may be better suited physically for the interior, but if there was anybody who deserves the benefit of the doubt that he can be an anomaly along the blindside, it’s Peter Skoronski.
I know I’ve pointed this out a bunch already, but the way Peter Skoronski consistently explodes out of his stance while timing the snap count is a thing of beauty.
Look how deep he is into his kick before anybody has even moved.
IDC where he plays.

No, he doesn’t have the ideal arm length you would prefer, but he knows how to compensate for it with fantastic hand usage, explosive athleticism and a cerebral approach to the position that will give him a chance against anybody.
Re-watching some Peter Skoronski tape and his ability to time the snap count and explode off his stance is a real thing of beauty.
Say what you want about his length (fair criticism), but the way he consistently gets to the junction point is going to give him a chance at LT. pic.twitter.com/ZPGizkuZ21

It should also be noted that he was announced as a tackle when he was officially drafted.
There will undoubtedly be rookie growing pains early on where his length — or lack thereof — gets exposed, but more often than not Skoronski should be able to hold his own regardless of where he plays.
The Titans just got a pillar along the offensive line, and his impact should be felt rather quickly.
