In an interview with WSOC, Governor Walz highlighted the importance of every vote and expressed confidence in Vice President Kamala Harris' ability to garner support from the Black community.

When questioned about the lower early voting turnout among Black North Carolinians compared to four years ago, Governor Walz dismissed any notion of a disconnect between Black voters and the Harris campaign. He stated that the campaign is actively engaging with the Black community and remains focused on ensuring voter turnout by Election Day.
