Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer also spoke at the Wisconsin breakfast, highlighting the potential impact of Democrats retaining control of the Senate and House, along with electing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as president and vice president.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers echoed the sentiment, asserting that the path to the White House goes through their state and expressing confidence in their ability to deliver. Walz later surprised the Pennsylvania delegation with a spirited address, declaring, 'The blue wall is solid, people. The blue wall is solid.'
Walz shared impressive organizing achievements, including nearly 49,000 new volunteer signups, over 28,000 call shifts, 621,590 phone calls, and more than 90,000 door knocks since Harris took over the campaign on July 21. The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by the delegates and speakers underscore the importance of these key states in the upcoming election.
