Democratic Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro issued a statement on Saturday denouncing political violence following an incident at a rally held by former President Donald Trump. Governor Shapiro emphasized that violence directed at any political party or leader is completely unacceptable and has no place in Pennsylvania or the United States.
Shapiro confirmed that he has been briefed on the situation and mentioned that the Pennsylvania State Police are actively present at the scene in Butler County. He also highlighted that the state police are collaborating with federal and local partners to address the matter.
