Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez was left bewildered when pictures of his family enjoying their last holiday before their new arrival were taken down by Instagram.
Gorka has been enjoying some sun with his pregnant wife Gemma Atkinson and their three-year-old daughter Mia.
The Ballroom and Latin dancer has been sharing memories of the trip with his Instagram followers but was forced to quiz his fans when a post was deleted.
On Tuesday, the Strictly star took to his Instagram story, accepting answers from his fans as he wrote: “Instagram deleted my last holiday post!! Anyone know why that happens?”
He then shared one of the images from the deleted post and added: “So Instagram took down these pics for apparently being too violent."
Gorka was able to repost the pictures later in the day and asked his fans to vote on whether they agreed with the social media platform's original decision.
“What you guys think?? Let me know in the comments and like it if you don’t agree," he asked.
Gorka's post included several holiday snaps of himself, Gemma and Mia on the beach.
One fan suggested: "Gorka, it’s more than likely due to ‘nudity’. The vast majority of people will just see a family on holiday having fun. But the internet is a cesspit for sick people who could screenshot your photos. I know I don’t have to spell out what for, there’s lots of articles about individual cases.”
However, other fans blasted Instagram for deeming the pictures "violent" as another wrote: "That's absolutely ridiculous, I report fake accounts on here all the time but they never take them down so continue to let vulnerable people get scammed but beautiful holiday snaps are too violent is just incomprehensible!!”
"To be fair you may have put a few fans in hospital from overheating," a third joked and another said: "Well those pecs could have someone's eye out.”
Gorka and Gemma announced earlier this year that they are expecting a baby boy this summer.
In January she confirmed she would most likely be departing her Hits Radio show to go on maternity leave in June.
