Gordon Ramsay is on the hunt for wannabe chefs to take part in what has been dubbed ‘the UK’s toughest food competition’.
The 55-year-old celeb chef will front the UK edition of Next Level Chef, which will air on ITV and STV, following a successful run across the Atlantic.
Twelve talented chefs, home cooks and food influencers will battle it out in a ‘demanding culinary gauntlet’.
The winner of the show will receiving a whopping £100,000 cash prize and mentorship from Gordon and and other food experts.

And the TV chef, who was born in Johnstone, is searching for foodies to compete on the show.
A spokesperson for Studio Ramsay said: “Next Level Chef is a brand new ITV competition show, where 12 talented chefs, home cooks and foodie influencers will battle it out to create phenomenal next level dishes, in what can only be described as a demanding culinary gauntlet.
“Following its hugely successful US run, contestants will be put through their paces in the UK’s toughest ever food competition as we celebrate the nation’s culinary experience.
“After a series of weekly eliminations, whoever impresses Gordon Ramsay and the other mentors the most will take home a massive £100k prize as well as a money can’t buy mentorship package with Gordon and the other mentors.”
People interested in joining up with the show must submit an application form on the Studio Ramsay website.
Shortlisted participants must be available for one day’s addition kitchen workshop in early August.
Then the selected participants must be free for filming sometime in late August and September.
Principal filming for the series will last for a maximum of two weeks and will begin in mid to late October, depending on how far participants get through the competition.
Competitors will be required to live in a hotel, which will be organised and paid for by Studio Ramsay.
People must be over 18 and must be a resident of the UK to be eligible for the show.
The application process will close at 11.59pm on Friday, July 22.
