Gordon Ramsay has admitted that he has run into a few issues following the launch of his new restaurant Lucky Cat at 22 Bishopsgate.

The eatery, which features an Asian-inspired menu, is located in London’s tallest office building and offers incredible views of the city.

This combination however seems to have had an unexpected effect on diners following its official opening earlier this month.

Appearing on this Saturday’s episode of ITV’s The Jonathan Ross show, the renowned chef and restaurateur, 58, explained: “We’ve got a problem with the toilets. There are lots of couples going in there and treating it like the ‘mile high’ bathroom."

Amorous diners aside, some have also gotten a little handsy in other areas.

Referring to the lucky cat statues on each table, Ramsay bemoaned: “The cats are getting stolen. There were 477 stolen last week - they cost £4.50 each!”

Elsewhere in the chat, he revealed getting a backhanded compliment during an encounter with a fan earlier that day, explaining: “A lady said to me ‘you look so much better in real life and so much taller’.”

The dad-of-six was also probed by Ross on if he and wife Tana are done with having kids, with their eldest being 26 and the youngest 14-months.

“I’d like to think so, yes,” he laughed.

Gordan Ramsay has been married to wife Tana since 1996 (PA)

When not changing nappies, he has his second eldest daughter Holly’s upcoming marriage to three-time gold medal winning Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.

Model and influencer Holly first met Peaty in 2021 when he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing along with Holly's younger sister Tilly. They got engaged last September.

Confirming that it will be a “Christmas wedding”, the outspoken TV star was full of praise for his future son-in-law, saying: “He’s so grounded. Those two get on so well. It’s a blessing.”

The Jonathan Ross Show airs Saturday at 9:30pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
