Gordon Ramsay and daughter Tilly to join Celebrity Gogglebox cast

This Friday, celeb chef, Gordon Ramsay, will join the Gogglebox regulars as he takes to the sofa with his daughter, Tilly. The pair have signed up to join the cast on Celebrity Gogglebox, appearing in this week's Stand Up to Cancer special.

Gordon and Tilly will appear on the show, donning matching onesies and sheepskin slippers. The pair said that they had "a lot of fun" filming the series, because their TV tastes are "polar opposites".

They said: "We’re always happy to support the superb work that Stand Up To Cancer do, and despite our TV tastes being polar opposites, we had a lot of fun filming this very special episode of Gogglebox. Every penny raised goes towards finding cures for cancer so I hope we can help raise bucketloads of money."

The celeb duo will appear alongside the Gogglebox regulars, this Friday at 9pm. Announcing the news on the official Gogglebox Instagram account, a spokesperson said: "Cooking up something special for you this Friday for the #Gogglebox @SU2CUK special! (fire emoji, eye emoji, telly emoji). Welcome to the #Gogglebox fam @Gordongram & @tillyramsay (heart face emoji)."

Gogglebox regular, Izzi Warner, commented: "Can’t wait", followed by two clapping emojis. And other fans were quick to welcome the pair to the show, too.

Lisa Mathias said: "Oooh looking forward to this! Used to watch Tilly’s show with my girls when they were younger." And Luciana Borinato said: "Yeaheee, Love them!!"

The news of Gordon and Tilly's Gogglebox debut comes as fellow Celeb Gogglebox star, Babatúndé Aléshé, has reportedly signed up to I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! The comedian is known for his funny one-liners on the Channel 4 series, the Mirror reports.

So far, radio DJ, Chris Moyles, and reality TV star, Olivia Attwood, have both been confirmed for the new I'm a Celeb... series. Other big names are rumoured to be entering the jungle, but ITV have said that these are "pure speculation" for now.
