Goods worth £26k stolen from Scottish industrial estate during break-in

MORE than £20,000 worth of cable drums have been stolen from an industrial estate in Glasgow.

Officers said the theft happened on Friday, November 17, between 8.30pm and 11pm in the city's Hillington Industrial Estate.

During the break-in, police said cable drums to the approximate value of £26,000 were stolen from the commercial premises.

Meanwhile, they also revealed two white vans were captured in the area by CCTV.

Now, police are looking for anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Between the hours of 8.30pm and 11pm on Friday, November 17, a theft by housebreaking occurred at a commercial premises in Hillington Industrial Estate.

"Two separate white vans have been captured on CCTV at the premises.

"A number of cable drums to the approximate value of £26,000 have been stolen from the premises.

"If anyone was in the area at the time and observed anything suspicious or anyone that has any information which may assist police with their enquiries is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 0887 of November 19."
