Goodfellas star Ray Liotta holds hands with fiancée in final pictures before his death

Goodfellas actor Ray Liotta was seen holding hands with his fiancée in heartbreaking final pictures of him.

The actor died in his sleep at the age of 67 while he was in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting for the upcoming movie, Dangerous Waters.

Earlier this month, the late actor was seen in good spirits as he held hands with fiancée Jacy Nittolo, 46, to who he got engaged in 2020.

In the photos, Ray wore a simple black t-shirt with black trousers. He also had a coat wrapped around his waist.

Jacy and the actor were pictured in Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles after enjoying an early dinner at an Italian restaurant called Spruzzo.

She was all smiles as she was down the road by her doting fiancé. Jacy wore a simple crop top with loose jeans.

The Many Saints of Newark actor Jacy had gotten engaged on Christmas Day in 2020.

He even shared the news with his fans at the time and said: "Christmas wishes do come true. I asked the love of my life to marry me, and thank God she said yes!"

The photos of their LA stroll were taken earlier this month, a couple of weeks before his shock death.

He was best known for playing real-life mobster Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese's hit gangster film Goodfellas.

Ray made his film debut in 1983's The Lonely Lady but his first major acting role was Something Wild in 1986, which earned him his first Golden Globe nomination.

Following his death, stars took to social media to pay tribute to the late actor.

Actor Lorraine Bracco, who played Liotta’s wife Karen Hill in Goodfellas said: “I am utterly shattered to hear this terrible news about my Ray.

“I can be anywhere in the world & people will come up & tell me their favorite movie is Goodfellas. “Then they always ask what was the best part of making that movie. My response has always been the same…Ray Liotta.”

Actor Rosanna Arquette shared: “I’m really sad to hear that Ray Liotta has passed away. He was a friend back in the day and it’s very sad. We had a lot of laughs Rest In Peace My friend,”

Actor Jamie Lee Curtis said: “Ray Liotta has died. His work as an actor showed his complexity as a human being. A gentleman. So sad to hear.”

Emmy winner Jeffrey Wright said: “Ray Liotta. Man. Just met dude for the first time last year. GREAT actor. Nice to have had a chance to say that to him. RIP.”
