Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 must have the bloody cheese touch, ‘cos another dusty groom has decided to run away from the experiment, and the reason behind why he left will have you reeling.

While most of Australia is still headfucked by Jacqueline ‘Jacqui’ Burfoot‘s meltdown which took place at intruders’ Beth Kelly and Teejay Halikas‘ wedding, fans have now been left gobsmacked over the shitty reason as to why Adrian Araouzou left the experiment.
I mean, good riddance, but the reason? Gosh. My heart just hurts for his wife, Awhina Rutene, who deserves the world.
To give you a quick recap, Tuesday night’s episode ended with Awhina in her MAFS apartment alone, with a producer asking for Adrian’s location.
“Oh God. He’s not here,” Awhina said as the camera showed a lone wedding band on her kitchen counter.
Prior to this, Awhina and Adrian were recently hit was an emotional cheating scandal which came to light in the last Commitment Ceremony, when Sierah Swepstone revealed to her husband, Belly Belcher, and the rest of the cast that she’d secretly confided in Adrian behind everyone’s back.
While you’d think this would be the reason behind Adrian’s disappearance, you best believe it wasn’t.
Following a well-timed commercial break, we see Awhina calling up Adrian, who then revealed that he went home and left the experiment because… He wasn’t involved in a promo for MAFS.
“Are you coming back?” Awhina asked, to which Adrian responded, “No. I’m not. I’m pissed off that I’m not in the promo.”
YOU’RE JOKING RIGHT?
“It’s disrespectful and I’m not going to be treated like that so I’m not going to accept it,” he continued.
Awhina tried to reason with her controversial hubby, explaining that some of the other grooms weren’t asked to be in so he wasn’t the only one, but Adrian wasn’t having a bar of it.
“I don’t get it, it’s not fair and you don’t know what it feels like to be in my shoes,” he sooked.
The beloved MAFS bride pleaded for her husband to return home, but Adrian insists that he won’t be returning until he gets in that bloody promo.
When asked if that was the end, Adrian doubles down stating he “had a great experience” and starting rambling about “God’s plan”.
Awhina expressed that she felt like she was “left in limbo”, hinting that Adrian kinda just dipped out of the experiment without telling her at all.
Looking to her hubby for their next moves on MAFS, Adrian replied, “Whatever they have planned for you.”
“I’m here with you and if you’re not here, then I’m not here,” she shared before explaining in a voxxie that Adrian shouldn’t be here for a promo shoot.
“I don’t think Adrian even thought of me in this decision,” she explained before Adrian revealed he didn’t care about the show and somehow got upset at Awhina for wanting him to come back.
“I’m not worried about the show. I care about what I stand for. And the fact that you’re pushing me to come back on that sense, it’s sort of showing colours,” he explained over the phone.
When Awhina pushed back, stating that his words were “wild” and “rude”, Adrian explained that she should be on his side.
“I’m not coming back until they get me in the promo. That was the principal, and I’m feeling disrespected,” he continued to sook.
“That’s the lowest of lows, of lows, of lows.”
He then abruptly hung up the phone after the massive sook.
