'Good move for him' - Manchester United fans react to latest Ralf Rangnick news

Manchester United fans have been sharing their reaction to the news that Ralf Rangnick could be set to take on a new role.

The Manchester Evening News understands Rangnick is currently considering an offer to become the new head coach of Austria. An announcement on who will take the role is expected to be made as early as Friday.

Rangnick has been the interim boss at United this season and will step aside at the end of the campaign to allow Erik ten Hag to take over. The German does have a role lined up as a consultant at Old Trafford once Ten Hag arrives and if he was to become the new manager of the Austrian national team this would not mean he would leave United.

The Austrian FA denied suggestions recently that Rangnick had met with their sporting director Peter Schottel in Manchester, but Gerhard Milletich is expected to announce the new coach in Vienna on Friday. Rangnick has overseen an underwhelming spell as interim boss with United looking set to miss out on the Champions League.

Here is how United fans have been reacting to the news.
