Matt Hancock's Good Morning Britain interview left viewers feeling "sick" after he was grilled by Richard Madley and Susanna Reid today.
The MP for West Suffolk was on Good Morning Britain over his stint in the jungle. Mr Hancock's addition proved to be controversial as he was forced to resign during the pandemic after breaking his own social distancing rules.
It was the former Health Secretary's first televised interview since he appeared on the ITV show. The 44-year-old continued to insist his primary motivation to appear on I'm A Celebrity was to show a different side to his personality and to raise awareness on dyslexia.

However, Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley held Mr Hancock's claims to account on today's show. Richard revealed Mr Hancock received £330,000 for competing on the show and has given just £10,000 of this to charities.
Richard branded the donation as a "small fraction" as he said: "If the money wasn't as important to you why have you held on to most of it?" Mr Hancock responded: "I said I didn't primarily do it for the money. I primarily did it to show who I really am. I gave a five figure sum to charity. I am really proud of the money I raised for the charity."
Viewers following the show on Twitter branded the defence "embarrassing".
Tom said: "He must enjoy being ridiculed and ripped to shreds! It’s so cringe!!"
Carla commented: "This is so cringe, my chest hurts"
Donna tweeted: "Loving #GMB Susanna is putting it to Hancock"
@TheKnowledgeNow added: "#MattHancock is getting eaten alive on #Gmb this morning!"
Rachael tweeted: "This is embarrassing @GMB @MattHancock. Totally detached from reality. I’m half expecting this to be an elaborate promo for a new series of The Thick of it."
Chris said: "Matt Hancock making me sick."
Will added: "#MattHancock on #GMB is boxoffice car crash TV. The man is a PR disaster to himself."
Rosemary posted: "LOL Matt Hancock squirming out of not donating a substantial amount of money from his jungle appearance! Gross!"
