Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley returned to screens on Tuesday, October 11 after months away from the popular ITV breakfast show. The presenter joined Susanna Reid on the panel for the first time since summer.
Welcoming her co-host back, Susanna said: "You've abandoned life and you're back on the earlies and it is absolutely love to have you back, and your family has changed since I last saw you."
Richard then revealed his daughter Chloe and her husband James Haskell had been living with him since welcoming their newborn baby in August, Chloe went into labour during Richard's last GMB show.

Responding to Susanna, Richard said: "Well on my very last day doing the show in the middle of August a couple of months ago, as I was doing the programme, I couldn’t tell you at the time because my daughter didn’t want me say anything but she was in labour.
"She was having the baby, and the baby was actually born at 8:40am, while we were in the commercial break, which was very handy."
He continued: "Our house in London has been baby central, because Chloe, her husband and the baby have been living with us, because their house is being done up. So they've been living with us for three months, and I love it!"
Richard also explained that during his absence from the show he's been "up to his eyeballs" making sure that his latest novel meets its publishing deadline. As Richard made his comeback, viewers at home took to social media to react.
"Yaaayyy Richard Madeley is back!!! Congratulations on being a grandad @richardm56," wrote one viewer. While another added: "It's great you are back Richard. I like it when you say what you have to say. Hope you stay on our tv full time."
Not everyone was pleased, however, with one social media user starting: "Turned over as soon as I saw that Madeley was back."
While a second commented: "#GMB why on earth have you ruined the show again, it's been such a blissful few weeks without Madeley! Balls and Lewis are watchable. This guy must boost the ratings elsewhere in seconds."
