Good Morning Britain was thrown into chaos on Wednesday when a discussion with Labour shadow health secretary Wes Streeting was halted mid-interview when a crew member was forced to step in and help.
Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley were discussing the recent junior doctors' three-day walkout as thousands of the medical professionals campaign for better working conditions.
As the hosts quizzed the shadow health secretary on how Labour would solve the crisis, a woman crew member could be seen stepping into the view of the camera with the politician, who was speaking from another studio in Salford.
The crew member helped the Labour MP sort out his microphone and earpiece as he suffered technical difficulties during the interview.
Susanna remarked: “Oh you’re having your earpiece removed,” to which the shadow health secretary replied: "I'm still here."
He then appeared to ignore the technical blunder and carried on with the interview.
Meanwhile, Streeting told Susanna and Richard what deal Labour would offer junior doctors ahead of today's strikes.
He said: "What I would say to junior doctors if I was the health secretary today, let's get around the table and negotiate. The trouble we've got, it's not an unwillingness from the junior doctors to talk, it's the unwillingness of the doctors.
"The junior doctors would be sat around the negotiating table with the government, if the government were providing a table."
Susanna questioned: "The junior doctors want 35 percent, would that be the basis for your negotiation?"
"I understand they want full pay restoration and I've been honest with them, that if I were the health secretary today with the economy as it is and the public finances the mess the Conservatives have made, I can't in all honestly say I'd be able to deliver 35 percent over night.
"I am asking people to trust Labour on our record. We were able under the last Labour government to keep pay up with inflation and in fact, we did deliver pay restoration because of the problems of the previous Conservative government."
