Good Morning Britain star refuses to answer hosts Ben Shepherd and Ranvir Singh and says 'I can't tell you'

Ben Shepherd and Ranvir Singh were given no answers when they quizzed one of their co-stars over an unexpected admission on Good Morning Britain. The presenters were at the helm of the ITV news programme on Friday (June 23) and were joined by Laura Tobin in the studio.

The meteorologist has been out and about this week visiting both Stonehenge for the summer solstice and Ascot Racecourse where Royal Ascot 2023 is currently taking place. But she was back in the ITV studios to round off the week and to deliver her latest weather reports to viewers.

But Laura was also brought into the conversation when Ben and Ranvir teased one of their upcoming debates which came off the back of news of a new trend where people are leaving their mobile phones at home while going on holiday.

And the idea soon sparked a conversation in the studio as the presenting duo confessed they would struggle to leave behind their electronic devices. It was then that Ranvir turned her attention to Laura and called out her strange obsession with mobile phones.

Mum-of-one Laura confessed: "I actually have three phones at the moment, yeah three phones." But when Ben inquisitively asked why, she mumbled: "I can't tell you why."

Confused, Ranvir cheekily responded: "You can't tell us? Are they burner phones?" as the studio erupted into laughter. That, obviously, wasn't the case and Laura did eventually admit the actual reason as she said: "I have phone problems and only one of them works so yeah, I have technical difficulties."

However, she did agree with the idea of leaving her devices at home as she said: "I have three phones and two laptops and only one of which is working that I'm trying to transfer over to. So it would be good for me."

Laura held up her three phones and confessed (ITV)

Laura's latest appearance on the show comes after she got quite a friendly interruption during one of her live reports that left Susanna Reid shouting from the studio: "Leave her alone! She's married!"

Speaking to the camera from Stonehenge, Laura said: "I have made a lot of very interesting friends here this morning," before she caught sight that she was being approached. "Oh - there's a man who's got a foil blanket to use as a reflector, that's very helpful of you," she politely said.

As the mystery man placed the blanket around Laura, he said: "You said that you are cold after the night. This is recycled from the London Marathon and it does the job." Continuing to be polite despite being live on air, Laura replied: "Thank you so much! That's really helpful and really kind of you."

Continuing to chat with the TV star, the man told Laura: "I really like your energy, you are such a pretty lady and I just want to be a part of the culture, when you see a beauty - this energy, your entourage - like wow, you have a power." Back in the studio as they watched the interaction unfold, Susanna was heard cutting in and shouting: "She's married, leave her alone," as co-host Richard Madeley echoed her words by adding: "She's a married woman."
