Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid issued a tribute to Kate Garraway and Derek Draper on today's show.
The broadcaster fronted Tuesday's edition of the ITV news programme alongside Ed Balls. The two were joined by showbiz reporter, Richard Arnold, to react to an emotional moment from Elton John's gig last night at the 02 Arena.
Kate is a huge fan of the iconic musician and attended the event alongside her husband. Elton spotted the married couple in the crowd and dedicated his hit song, Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me, to them.

He told the audience: "They’re inspiring. They’ve never given up and I’m so thrilled they’re here, I can’t believe they are here.” Derek fell critically ill after contracting coronavirus in 2020 and Kate has helped care for the former political lobbyist throughout this ongoing health battle.
Susanna was wowed by the moment as she said: "That is so emotional, what a superstar. As are you Kate and Derek." Kate has previously revealed on Good Morning Britain how Elton reached out to offer support after Derek fell seriously ill.
She said: "Elton John contacted me. It was so strange. I was like, ‘Elton… John?’ We do have a mutual friend, which I didn’t know about. And because of all the work he does with the Aids Foundation he was like, ‘What can I do to help? I know a bit about antiviral stuff. And I’m on board. I’ll try to help. He’s incredible.”
