Good Morning Britain's Rob Rinder opened up on his struggle after his heartbreaking loss.
The TV judge fronted Wednesday's edition of the ITV news programme alongside Charlotte Hawkins. The two covered the impact of the cost of living crisis as pets are being abandoned in the wake of soaring prices.
Rescue centres are already full as people are unable to afford to keep their pets. Rob has previously emotionally revealed his beloved dog, Rocco, died earlier this month.

Rob swooned as footage was broadcast of two rescue dogs, Fidget and Theo. This sparked Charlotte to question if he would consider taking in a new rescue dog. She added: "It's hard isn't it if you had a much loved one to then replace."
Rob agreed as he opened up on on the difficulty of replacing such as treasured member of the family. He said: "I'm not sure I could have another one.
"I didn't really want a dog. Eventually you get a pet and it becomes exactly as you describe. It becomes exactly how you describe as they become part of your family. They're irreplaceable."
