Richard Madeley defended his controversial debate with National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) union leader Mick Lynch.
Mick appeared on Good Morning Britain last month to discuss the planned rail strikes but was met with a hot-headed Madeley who refused to let him get a word in edgeways.
The conversation descended into chaos as the GMB presenter accused Mick of refusing to answer questions despite not letting him have sufficient or realistic time to compute the questions he was asked. Richard continued to interrupt the union leader at length throughout before telling him to "jog on"

Mick returned to GMB this morning to discuss the ongoing rail strikes but an anxious Susannah Reid suggested things would once again descend into chaos. Richard doubled down on his previous behaviour by claiming Mick's comments were "complete nonsense" but he often has to interrupt his guests to make a point.
He said: "They started off on the wrong path. What he was saying was these weren't Christmas strikes that we saw in December because in his books Christmas starts on Christmas Eve which is just nonsense.
"So you have to interrupt people. I don't like doing that because it's not good to watch, is it."
Mick joined the ITV studio to explain the union's case again this morning but he and Richard remained polite to each other as they discussed how to bring the situation to an end with the Transport Minister, Mark Harper.
