After just a few days as host on Good Morning Britain, newcomer Marverine Cole has viewers calling for bosses to ring the changes and make her a permanent presenter 'as soon as possible.'
Both regular Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins were both delighted at Marverine joined the team on the ITV daytime show, with the two of them taking to Twitter to share their excitement, as she thanked them for being so supportive after her first shift.
Marverine has stepped into a role that Charlotte herself has occupied on Good Morning Britain, as the news anchor when the programme kicks off at 6am, before the two main presenters start half an hour later. And then, as well as delivering the news, Marverine stayed in her seat to react to other discussions that went on over the course of the three hour long live broadcast, just as the likes of Ranvir Singh and Pip Tomson have done previously.
The journalist, who has featured on This Morning, Classic FM and Steph's Packed Lunch, featured in a series of videos posted on Good Morning Britain's Twitter timeline on Thursday and Friday and the comments underneath the clips made no secret of the fact that plenty of viewers went her to be a permanent fixture on the show.
Issuing a call to producers to just that, and team her with Ranvir, one fan took to Twitter to post: "Absolutely loving @TVMarv now on @GMB, a HAPPY tone in news for once! More of Marverine please! Marverine & @ranvir01 to anchor the show ASAP!"
Also wanting to see more of Marverine on screen, another wrote: "I might have to start watching if @TVMarv is going to be a regular fixture. So nice to see more of you on TV Marverine."
A third told the new presenter: "I dunno, there’s something about waking up and seeing @TVMarv absolutely crushing it on GMB that makes me wanna smile. I love it when good people win."
