Good Morning Britain's Laura Tobin's adorable family holiday with daughter Charlotte

Good Morning Britain presenter Laurin Tobin has given her social media fans a touching glimpse into her family life.

The popular weather girl shared a sweet beach snap of herself holding hands with her daughter Charlotte, three, while they dip their feet in the sea.

Laura and her family enjoyed a full-filled seaside break last week before she returned to her regular meteorologist duties on the hit ITV breakfast show this morning.

And prior to going to back to work after a welcome break with her loved ones, TV star Laura reflected on her lovely holiday.

In a poignant post to her 179,200 Twitter followers, Laura said: “Back on @GMB tomorrow after a lovely week off.

“Had a lovely few days at the seaside with my family and this little lady – I love her so much.

“It was so lovely to stop for a moment and enjoy the beautiful planet we live on.

In a similar post to her 117,000 Instagram fans, Laura penned: “Me & mine me,

“Had a lovely week off and a few days away with this little one (and family).”

It wasn’t long before her fans reacted to her cute post, in which mum and daughter touchingly hold hands while letting the waves splash against their feet.

“How cute,” gushed one fan.

“Aw, lovely pic,” added another.

And a third beamed: “Beautiful photo, hope you had a lovely time.”

Laura, 39, used to work for the BBC and regularly presented the weather for the BBC News at One.

Laura also shared a picture of herself smiling on the beach and captioned it: "Windy hair, don't care! A lovely few days away at the coast."

But she switched to rivals ITV in September 2012 and worked on the relaunched Daybreak show, before progressing to being a mainstay on GMB.

Earlier this year Laura was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Meteorological Society in “recognition of substantial contributions to meteorology”.

She has also starred on The Chase : Celebrity Special, Pointless Celebrities, Tipping Point : Lucky Stars and Celebrity Mastermind.

However, away from the TV cameras Laura is a dedicated mother and loves nothing more than spending quality time with her family.

And judging by her sweet snap of mother and daughter, you can see how much family holidays mean to the respected TV personality.

Just a fortnight ago Laura missed her weather report after a technical blunder forced newsreader Charlotte Hawkins to temporarily stand in.

Laura tried to deliver her weather report on location at Heather Castle in Kent, but the ITV show went off the rails and Charlotte kept her cool to deliver the segment.

Coming to her colleague's aid Charlotte, 46, admitted: "Now it's quarter past six and normally we would be going over to Laura with the weather, she's live at Heather Castle.

"But the rain is interfering with the signal. So let me tell you what's coming up ..."

Charlotte later teased: "If [Laura] she's watching that hopefully I did alright, I'm sure she'll let me know later."
