Good Morning Britain's Laura Tobin has explained what you need to do to see the Northern Lights.
People across large parts of the UK were thrilled as they were able to enjoy a stunning natural light display in the sky last night. Laura explained the Northern Lights were visible in the UK due to a powerful geomagnetic storm.
The weather presenter issued a positive update on Monday's edition of the ITV news programme as they should once again be visible tonight. She said: "We have yet again another strong solar storm heading across northern areas of the UK.

"It could be visible about as far south as the Midlands." Laura explained the best viewing would be 9pm as she shared some top tips on Instagram to get the best possible viewing experience.
She said: "Wrap up, head to higher ground with a good view of the horizon, avoid light pollution and look north." However it wasn't all good news as the weather forecaster said cloudy conditions could impact any view of the Northern Lights.
She said: "Will the skies be clear? It's cloudy for many of us. That's not welcome news unfortunately."
People across Merseyside will be hoping to experience the dazzling scenes seen last night when the Northern Lights lit up the Merseyside sky. Dominic Darvell was speechless as he captured a spectacular snap of the light display at Crosby beach.
