Kate Garraway paid a 'silent' but poignant tribute to the late Queen.
The Good Morning Britain host has made several appearances in the past week to report on events since Her Majesty died on September 8. Last weekend she appeared live from outside Buckingham Palace before being back in the ITV studio the following day.
On each appearance she has worn black clothing, as a sign of respect. However, on Friday's show, she added something a little extra to her outfit which gave a simple but poignant nod to Queen Elizabeth II.

Sitting alongside co-host Ben Shephard, it didn't take long for fans at home to notice the simple accessory Kate was wearing around her neck. She was wearing a set of pearls to accessorise her black outfit in a clear nod to Her Majesty's love of the jewellery.
During her 75 year reign, Queen Elizabeth was rarely seen without her favourite three strand pearl necklace. It had been a gift from her late father, King George VI, who passed away in 1952, reported Chronicle Live.
Kate spoke about King George in the early part of the programme, saying that the Queen's funeral on Monday will surpass the scale of her father's and "be more like Queen Victoria's," in terms of the massive attention it receives, adding that it presents "a huge logistical challenge," to those involved in the organisation of the state event and those responsible for the security.
