Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard aims Strictly Come Dancing jibe at Kate Garraway

Ben Shephard was shushed as he aimed a Strictly Come Dancing jibe at his Good Morning Britain go-stars.

The broadcaster fronted Friday's edition of the ITV news programme alongside Kate Garraway. The presenters interviewed Matt Goss on today's show after he narrowly avoided elimination on the season premiere of Strictly Come Dancing.

The Bros singer was saved as Kaye Adams exited the show. The upcoming episode on Strictly is movie week as the celebrities perform routines to songs made famous by some of our favourite films.

Kate competed on season five of Strictly and Ben aimed a cheeky dig at his co-host as he asked what song she danced to on on Movie Week. She responded: "I didn't get that far."

The pair were joined by Charlotte Hawkins, who was the third celebrity to be eliminated on Strictly in 2017. Ben teased Charlotte for her short stint as he joked: "Did you do Strictly?"

Charlotte shot back: "Oh shush. I was blink and you miss it, but I did do Movie Week." Kate claimed they didn't do Movie Week when she donned her dancing shoes in a bid to win the Glitterball.

Ben said: "They didn't do black and white movies did they?" Kate joked: "They didn't have any colour back then."

Kate was partnered with Anton du Beke on Strictly and finished in 8th place.
