Andi Peters has announced a change to his job as I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns to screens. The popular presenter, who usually brings ITV viewers the latest competition and deals live on Good Morning Britain and Lorraine, has announced he will be jetting off to Australia for the 2022 series.
The 52-year-old joined GMB co-stars Susanna Reid and Ed Balls in the studio on Tuesday, November 1 to share the breaking news. Revealing he would be reporting on the ongoings Down Under, Andi said: "Okay the breaking news is, I am going to go to Australia to cover the campmates - that's the breaking news. So I will be there for the final week."
Andi also shared his thoughts on this year's line-up, including close friend Chris Moyles. "I am so excited to watch him in this programme," he told Susanna and Ed.

Asked what his friend's strengths and weaknesses are, Andi responded: "At the moment, ITV have put them in isolation on top of the rules of Australia, to make sure they are Covid safe. I think this is the bit he's going to struggle with, just being by himself for 10 days, because he loves to chat."
Chris will join Love Island star Olivia Attwood, former professional rugby player and royal family member Mike Tindall and Boy George in the jungle. Other contestants include Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver and Loose Women's Charlene White. You can see the line-up in full here.
Also set to join the campmates as a wild card is former health secretary Matt Hancock. The MP was suspended by the tory party as the news broke, you can read more on this here.
This year I'm A Celebrity returns to Australia after a two-year stint in Wales. The series took place at Gwrych Castle in Abergele in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ahead of the show's start date on Sunday, November 6 ITV viewers can have their say in a brand new twist. As usual, the celebrities will be split into two teams but fans of the show can now vote to decide who goes where with the option to send some of this year's stars to an island called where they will be called VIPs (Very Isolated People).
Viewers can vote for which celebrities they want to be shipped to the island on the I'm A Celebrity... app, where they have five free votes, or viewers can vote online. You can read more on that here. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
